You did not give us your email. We found it, and you are entitled to know that, to see what we hold, and to tell us to stop. All three are below, and none of them need an account.

For a journalist in our records, typically:
We do not hold your home address, your phone number, anything about your personal life, or any special category data. We do not buy media lists and we do not sell ours.
From published sources, in this order, and we stop as soon as one works: the article page itself, the author page linked from it, the structured data a publication publishes about its own staff, and our existing records. If none of those produce an address, a customer may pay for a lookup through Snov.io, a business contact provider.
We did not get it from you, which is why this page exists: UK GDPR Article 14 says that when data is collected from somewhere other than the person it describes, the person should be told.
Our customers are companies that should be listed in articles about their category and are not, or that are listed with something wrong: a price that changed, a product that shut down, a company that was acquired. We find those pages and help them write to the journalist who can correct them.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: ours in operating the service, and our customers' in correcting published information about them. We have weighed that against your interests and concluded it is proportionate because the data is limited to professional contact details, already published by you or your employer, used only to contact you about your own published work, in a field where being contacted about your articles is a normal part of the job.
That assessment is ours and you are entitled to disagree with it. If you object, we stop. There is no balancing test applied to that decision.
Our customers do, from their own mailboxes. We draft the message and decide when it is worth sending; the email itself leaves their address, not ours. If you reply, your reply goes to them.
Until it stops being accurate or you ask us to remove it. An address that bounces is marked dead immediately and never used again. Nobody in our network emails the same person twice within sixty days, however many customers would like to.
You can ask to see what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to us using it at all. The last of those is absolute for direct marketing: if you object, we stop, permanently, and we do not ask why.
Use the form below. We will email that address a link to confirm it is yours, because otherwise anyone could delete anyone. We do not tell you whether we hold anything until you have confirmed, for the same reason.
Tell us first at privacy@mentioned.ai and we will fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, without telling us first.
